Man I am tired today, a full 48hrs of gaming, drink and pizza has taken over my weekend......but I love it! If you're wondering why well this is why, I am a bit of a geek and loooove computer games, pc mainly but the occasional console game too. My OH (other half) runs a local LAN party (
BreachLAN) here in Aberdeenshire which holds events 3-4 times a year. These events are basically a chance for us like minded geeks to get together in a freezing cold village hall and play computer games over a

Network for a full weekend. No moaning parents, school work or a full time job to interrupt, just full on pc gaming until the wee hours. To most people it sounds like a weekend from hell but for us 30 odd people here this weekend, its pure bliss!!

Xbox Rock Band - Battle of the Bands. We were allowed to put together our own 'bands' and then got to perform our set of songs. This particular weekend consisted of about 4 or 5 different groups and was awesome fun for all. Thanks to our resident Dj,
Dj Gemini we had a pretty professional set up with mics, lights and sound system to give it that extra 'gig atmosphere'
